Permaculture Principals Poem

Permaculture, “Observe & interact” I will dare say you can call it a fact that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” “catch and store energy” without looking over your shoulder.

“Make hay while the sun shines” & “Obtain a yield”

“You can’t work on an empty stomach” a whole day on the field.

You’ll have to “apply self regulation & accept feedback”  If you don’t our presence will end up in a blow back.

“The sins of the father are visited on the children into the seventh generation” It is time for mankind to bring forth a peaceful revolution.

“Use and value renewable resources & services”

“Let nature take its course” stop acting like novices

“Produce no waste” “A stitch in time saves nine”

With “waste not want not” in our mind we should be able to incorporate it into our “Design from patterns to details”

You might even find that you’ll have to kill your darlings and leave your pigs behind. Well it depends on your lot and the size of you plot, but you might consider replacing them with bees.

Sometimes “you just can’t see the wood for the trees” Integrate rather than segregate” it is vital that we’re able to communicate, but even though “Many hands make light work” some may be left behind and feel like a jerk.

So”use small and slow solutions” and let people talk without intrusions don’t overdue your pace “slow and steady wins the race” “use and value diversity” you don’t have to get a degree from a university. Remember “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” rather you would want to fill as many as you like of the markets basket

“use edge and value the marginal” it doesn’t necessarily have to be original, but ”don’t think you are on the right track, just because it is a well beaten bath”

“Creatively use and respond to change” might hit you while in the bath “Vision is not seeing things as they are but as they will be”

With Permaculture the world is more than one eye can see.
