Permaculture Eden offers a selection of courses to help others make fulfilling choices in how they live their life, not least of these courses are our Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) courses. This course is based on the internationally recognised syllabus for the PDC and recognised as a potentially life changing course. The course gives students the tools and skills they need to help them make intelligent life choices and design a better more fulfilling future for themselves and the rest of the global community. Fiona and I have been inspired by our Permaculture education and experience our hope is to pass on this inspiration to others.
Each of the PDC course runs over two weeks, these are intensive learning experiences where all the students and tutors live, work, learn and play together. We offer the lowest cost quality PDC in Europe on a fully functioning Permaculture site with many practical demonstrations of Permaculture in action.
We have over 200 graduates who have originated from all over the world including Australia, Austria, America, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Chorea, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay and Wales. Our course is a truly internationally divers experience so don’t think you will be alone if English is not your first language.
Why can we offer the course for so little? Because we practice what we preach; living a low impact lifestyle and producing most of our daily needs on site. This gives us a unique opportunity to help others learn from direct experience of our life style as well as from the classes and demonstrations the course offers.
Few sites around the world are able to offer the same living examples and experiences during a PDC, many other courses use sites which are designed to host academic courses or workshops, and then take you to visit permaculture design sites Permaculture Eden offers you the experience of walking the Permaculture way for the full two weeks.
Our Natural building courses are offered to improve future accommodation facilities for students and to give living examples of buildings designed using permaculture principles and design methods. Students are enabled and empowered through the process of building with their own hands using the new skills they acquire as the process of building progresses. The nature of building requires students to be physically able to rise to the demands of the process which is both physically and mentally demanding. While our lives here at Permaculture Eden are incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, the fulfilment and rewards come from a direct connection to the living natural world and the demands it makes on us. The same can be said for building if you want the reward of success you have to be prepared to put in the hard work required to finish one part of the process before you can move on to the next.
We are offering the following Permaculture Design and Natural Building Courses for 2015.
